We tend to not think about what’s good about ourselves. We focus on the negative and all that we think is wrong with us. This gnaws away at our self-worth. However, with the intention of loving ourselves more, we can break cycle of negativity.
Try this: Make a list of all the things that you like about yourself. Be generous. Include personality traits – your sense of humor, your commitment to family, your musical talent as well as things that you have accomplished in life such as graduating from college and participating in any volunteer work. You’ll soon see how many wonderful qualities you have and how much you have accomplished in life. This is a great confidence booster!
