A Companion to the Forgotten

He answers: “to give.” In this video, Narayanan Krishnan is a companion to the homeless, the forgotten, suffering from hunger in his community. But it’s not just the hunger he helps to feed, he extends himself in selfless ways to ease the pain of their isolation.

Learn more about Narayanan Krishnan, an award-winning, rising chef, who now dedicates his life to caring for the homeless, sick, elderly, and mentally ill. He starts his day at 4:00 a.m. and, with his team, covers nearly 125 miles in a donated van, feeding nearly 400 people each day hot, vegetarian meals, often in 100 degree weather.
